Dr Chris Jenner, Consultant in Pain Medicine and expert witness provides defence and claimant medicolegal reports – in this complimentary interactive webinar he will discuss the key elements of a good defence report.

Dr Jenner has 15 years’ experience as an expert witness and will draw on this experience to discuss the key elements to look for in a good medicolegal report when defending a claim. Since the majority of claims are abandoned by the claimant, often on receipt of an expert’s evidence, a well written report is critical in defending a claim. Dr Jenner will explore the steps a good expert will consider when preparing their report, including the chronology of events, inconsistencies, medical history, likely outcomes, symptoms and prognosis, adherence to the duty of care. He will also focus on the medicolegal challenges posed in cases of chronic pain and the difficulty of establishing causation.
